In response to your editorial, A balanced Budget is what India needed, (March 1), I would like to state that nobody can find fault with finance minister Arun Jaitley for taxing the rich to improve the lot of the poor in our country. The Budget seeks to eradicate rural distress, poverty and unemployment. The proposed allocations in the Budget will change the face of rural India, from improvement in agriculture to employment under MGNREGA. It is hoped that this Budget is implemented well across the country.
