With reference to the news report Kejriwal: Car plan will first be tested (Dec. 6), Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal could have first discussed his alternate day private vehicle plan to curb pollution with all stakeholders rather than announcing this drastic step. While I agree that he was under pressure to take action in the wake of Delhi high court’s observation that we are living in a “gas chamber”, it doesn’t give Mr Kejriwal the liberty to come up with impractical solutions. This is not the time to experiment.
