With reference to Pavan K. Varma’s article, Two years, too many betrayals (May 8), I would like to add that in spite of a convincing victory, the National Democratic Alliance government still feels insecure. The principal focus of the government seems to be on settling old scores against the Gandhi dynasty. The Modi government would do better to concentrate only on governance and the economy. That is what people want. Time to change course, please.
