A blank congress
The Congress’ confrontation with the Modi government over the alleged political “snooping” directed against its vice-president, Rahul Gandhi, by the Delhi police displays its political bankruptcy.
The Congress’ confrontation with the Modi government over the alleged political “snooping” directed against its vice-president, Rahul Gandhi, by the Delhi police displays its political bankruptcy. The Delhi police was merely following the procedure of profiling prominent politicians in sending an assistant sub-inspector to Mr Gandhi’s residence. Rumour-mongering and undue sensationalism will not divert the focus from Mr Gandhi’s glaring absence and Coalgate. The Congress’ revival should be based on more concrete issues than these.
