It is really shocking to know the BCCI claim that if the Lodha diktat is accepted then Team India’s schedule could get affected and they will be forced to either opt for IPL or Champions Trophy. This seems to be a new gimmick and gives a clear impression that the board is only after money. We are confident that the Supreme Court would not fall prey to such gimmicks. At the same time the Lodha Committee too should ensure that no Test/ODI match against the visiting teams is scrapped for want of funds, which it has frozen at present.
