I think that Kanhaiya Kumar is playing politics and very soon he will be nominated by some political party to fight elections (Kanhaiya stopped at the gates of UoH, March 24). Some people are making him a hero. If anybody wants to become a leader he must prove himself through public service. No politics must be allowed in educational institutions.

The media seems to be highlighting the activities of a small group of rebels in both UoH and JNU. No newspaper has criticised the violent behaviour of OU students just because a body was found on the premises. I hope the media will maintain balance at all times. M. Chidambara Rao Hyderabad
It’s a sad state of affairs at the UoH with the non-teaching staff going on strike. Food is a basic necessity and students should not be denied that. Ayesha Begum Hyderabad
