The Delhi government’s revision of fees for Indraprastha University-affiliated private colleges in a retrospective manner was arbitrary and unfair to students. How could the government expect students enrolled in professional courses to pay the revised course fee from 2013 to the present I am glad that better sense prevailed and chief minister Arvind Kejriwal asked for it to be rolled back. It is uncharacteristic of a government that prides itself on being “popular” and pro-aam aadmi to take such drastic steps without consulting the common man.
