Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was on Thursday told that authorities had failed to stop funding for the terror networks under the National Action Plan.

A report presented to the Prime Minister, on the implementation of NAP said eight out of 20 points could not be implemented so far. According to the report, law enforcement agencies and provincial governments could not stop funding for terrorist networks. It was also revealed that outfits were operating under different names.

The National Action Plan was launched in early 2015 after terrorists attacked a school in December of 2014, killing around 148 persons, mostly students. The plan aimed at registration of seminaries across the country.
