London

: Islamic State has dismissed the threat issued by Anonymous hackers of waging a cyber war, calling them ‘idiots’ for threatening to shut down their Twitter accounts.

Anonymous, an international network of activist hackers had declared war against ISIS following Paris attacks, claiming to have taken down as many as 5,500 ISIS linked accounts from Twitter. The Islamic State however seems unaffected by their efforts and branded them ‘idiots’, asking jihadists to simply make new accounts and be a little more careful from now on.

'What they gonna hack all they can do is hacking twitter accounts, emails, etc Do not make your email same as your username on twitter this mistake cost many ansar [users sympathetic to ISIS] their accounts and the kuffar [non-Muslims] published their IP, so be careful,’ the Islamic Cyber Army wrote according to New York Magazine.

ISIS jihadists have an intricate network online and use a number of encryption apps and online services to communicate online without being detected by security services and are clearly unfazed by Anonymous hackers.

Anonymous hackers had released a video where a man wearing a Guy Fawkes mask said the Paris attacks which left 129 people dead, cannot go 'unpunished', the group vowed they would unleash a wave of cyber attacks against the terror outfit.
