And he says the United States is “insane” to accept any refugees from Syria in the wake of the attacks.
Mr Trump spoke Saturday at a rally in Beaumont, Texas.
He began the event with a moment of silence in honour of the victims of the attacks.
French officials say more than 120 people are dead and hundreds more injured after the series of coordinated bombings and shootings.
Mr Trump also criticised President Barack Obama’s handling of the Islamic State (ISIS) group, saying that the United States should be more aggressive in its approach. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has been calling for the United States to destroy oil fields the group controls.
