Blast near hospital in Pakistan’s Quetta, several injured

The explosion took place near Al Khair hospital in Quetta.

: An explosion took place near Al Khair hospital in Pakistan’s Quetta on Thursday. Several people are reportedly injured in the blast.

According to Dawn, the blast was targeting a ATF near the hospital and the impact shattered windows of nearby buildings. Security force and bomb disposal squad are at the scene of the attack.

The new attack comes in the wake of security forces launching a combing operation in Quetta on Wednesday against banned organisations suspected of having a hand in the string of recent terrorist attacks in the region.
