Anti-Corruption Bureau officials continued their raids for a second day on Friday on the houses of A. Mohan in nine places of Telangana state, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. ACB officials, led by its Central Investigation Unit DSP A. Ramadevi, started the raids on Thursday morning. Mr Mohan was arrested and produced before the ACB Court in Vijayawada.

The document value of his properties is Rs 100 crore to Rs 120 crore. ACB officials said that several bank lockers were yet to be opened and searched.

Officials felt that to convert black money into white, he had floated eight companies in the name of his elder daughter Tejasri.

“We could not trace the offices of the companies as per the addresses in the documents,” said Ms Ramadevi. Mohan had recently transferred some property at Bellary in Karnataka to his name from his in-laws’ names.
