A woman was allegedly gang-raped by four men inside a moving car on Friday night in east Delhi's Anand Vihar.
Police said the incident occurred when she had gone to buy food from an eatery near a shopping mall in the area around 10 pm.
According to her complaint to the police, four men pulled her inside a moving car, raped her in turn and -"brutally-" assaulted her when she tried to resist.
The accused then dumped her at a secluded stretch near Kakdi Mod in Madhu Vihar. Police have registered a case based on the victim's statement.
-"We have identified the accused and the vehicle has also been traced. We are trying to verify the incident and arrests will be made once we record her statement,-" a senior police officer said.
-"When the vehicle stopped in front of her she tried to move away but one of the occupants got down and forcibly pulled her inside,-" the official added.
