A 25-year-old lady teacher in Saharanpur district has eloped with her 17-year-old student.
The student, Anup, is a student of intermediate and had been taking tuitions form the teacher. During this period, the two are believed to have fallen in love. After the exams, Anup stopped taking tuitions and the lady teacher was believed to be considerably upset over this. Two days ago, Anup left home to visit his aunt in Ambala and he was accompanied by the lady teacher. A family friend told the boy’s family that he had seen the teacher with Anup. The two did not reach Ambala and are believed to have gone to an undisclosed destination together. The family of the boy went to the teacher’s house in Muzaffarnagar but found it locked. The boy’s family have now lodged a missing complaint with the police and the matter is being investigated. The mobile phones of the teacher and her student are switched off.
