It's a big hit!: Rahul Gandhi lauds party's campaign theme song

New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday took to Twitter to announce that party’s campaign song has become a “big hit” across India.

The campaign song is based on the concept of “Nyay” (justice).

Sharing a new video of the party’s campaign song, Gandhi tweeted:

Congress’s poll slogan “Ab Hoga Nyay” is based on the election promise of basic minimum income support for the poorest of the poor families in the country.

Congress focuses primarily on five issues- jobs, minimum income, education, farming - in its manifesto for national elections.

The party officially launched its poll slogan and campaign song, penned by poet and lyricist Javed Akhtar, about two weeks ago.
