Kolkata: Hitting back at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has claimed that he has turned ‘Rafalewala’ from a ‘chaiwala’.

According to Ms Banerjee, the three-day agitation has left Mr Modi scared due to which he threatened her. The Trinamul Congress supremo also described him ‘kingpin of corruption.’

Ms Banerjee salvo on the Mr Modi came soon after he warned of sparing no one in the chit fund scam. Ms Banerjee told the media, “Our agitation Satyagraha was not political. He ( Mr Modi) has developed fear. Whom would he threaten if he has not been panicked? He is absolutely scared. India is united now, as 23 political parties are working together. And our one-point programme is: Modi Hatao Desh Bachao. First we have to protect the Constitution, the federal structure, the country and its people. We are united.”

Bantering Mr Modi she alleged, “Modi Babu is afraid and is talking nonsense. He is having sleepless nights. Earlier, he used to claim himself to be a tea-seller, which he never was. He can not even make tea and he is also homeless. Now he has become Rafale-wala from Chaiwala.”

The Trinamul chief also accused Mr Modi of copying her slogans. “Jagai Madhai and Bidai was my slogan. Does that mean he is now copying my slogan also? Why did not he spell out Bidai? Because it is his name, she said.”
