New Delhi: After the Supreme Court directed Kolkata police chief Rajeev Kumar to answer CBI queries, Union minister Smriti Irani said Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee’s political histrionics have been brought to a screeching halt by the court that has put constitutional restraint on “Didi ki dadagiri.” In a Facebook post titled “The Kleptocrat’s Club”, Union minister Arun Jaitley described Ms Banerjee and Opposition leaders supporting her as “kleptocrat’s club” which “now aspires to capture the reigns of India”.
