Senior UP minister Mohd Azam Khan said that the terror attack in Paris was a “reaction to an action”.
“The US must understand that every bomb that it drops kills thousands of innocent persons. Superpowers must understand this too,” he told reporters in Rampur. He further said that Paris was a city of night clubs and bars.
Slamming the statement made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the issue of intolerance, Mr Khan said, “Mr Modi has taken the names of Buddha and Gandhi in London whereas he subscribes to the ideology that killed the Mahatma. He, therefore, has no right to take the name of Gandhi.”
Responding to a question, Mr Khan said that after Bihar, the BJP would face defeat in Punjab and other states where elections are due. He also took a dig at the Swachch Bharat campaign.
