Srinagar: Pakistani troops violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Shahpur sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.

A senior Army officer told a news channel, -"Pakistani soldiers violated the border ceasefire through indiscriminate firing at around 12.10 am on our posts along the LoC in Shahpur sector,-" adding, -"We have responded immediately and gave appropriate reply in a measured manner.-"
No casualties have been reported in the incident so far.
