Nod to varsity land transfer

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the transfer of 21.93 acre of land belonging to the Central Tobacco Research Institute (CTRI), Rajahmundry, to the Acharya N.G.

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the transfer of 21.93 acre of land belonging to the Central Tobacco Research Institute (CTRI), Rajahmundry, to the Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Hyderabad, on a long lease basis for a period of 50 years. This move would allow the agri varsity to set up a permanent campus for its agriculture college at Rajahmundry.
