Mumbai: A Chetak helicopter carrying out routine practice made a 'precautionary landing' due to a technical problem at the Advanced Landing Ground near Uran, in Navi Mumbai on Thursday.
-"There is no damage to the aircraft, which took off from Mumbai, and the personnel on board were safe-", a Defence spokesperson said.
-"A support helicopter has been sent to provide assistance. The helicopter will fly out of the location shortly-", he said.
The Chetak chopper is understood to have carried out the safe 'precautionary landing' after a suspected fuel leak. A chopper with spares and a team to rectify the defect has been sent.
