New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday tweeted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is ‘hell-bent on destroying Delhi’.

Kejriwal is infuriated over the recent transfer of officers by Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung, who represents the Centre in Delhi.

“Today, several officers are transferred by LG directly. Files not even shown to CM or any minister. Is this Modi model of democracy ” tweeted the Chief Minister.

Last week, Kejriwal had claimed the Lt. Governor and the Centre wanted to 'reverse' numerous decisions of public importance, including the decision to increase minimum wages and holding discoms accountable for unscheduled outages, among other measures.

Kejriwal also alleged that the PM has asked Jung to do what power companies want. -"Modiji is in the pockets of power companies. Power companies are hand in glove with Modi. Modiji asked LG on phone to do what they (discoms) say,-" he had tweeted.

The Aam Aadmi Party has also alleged that the Lieutenant Governor is behaving like a 'king' and is interested in spreading dictatorship in the national capital.

In a sensational claim last month, Kejriwal said that Modi may get him ‘killed’ and he asked AAP MLAs to be ready for ‘ultimate sacrifice’ in the wake of ‘unprecedented crackdown’ by the BJP government.
