Militants target security forces, 2 civilians hurt in gunfight

Both the injured were shifted to hospital.

: Unidentified militants targeted security forces on Monday in Anantnag district, triggering a gunfight in which two civilians were injured.

-"Unidentified militants fired at security forces at Zirpora village of Bijbehara, 45 kms from here, and in the ensuing exchange of firing, two civilians were injured,-" a police officer said.

Both the injured were shifted to hospital, he said. However, there was no casualty among the security forces or the militants, the officer said.
