A woman in a Madhya Pradesh town on Friday slashed her lover’s penis for allegedly spurning her demand to have sex with her, the police said. The incident took place in Kotma under Anuppur district in the state.
According to the FIR filed in connection with the incident in the Kotma police station, the victim and the accused had been going steady for 15 years till they got married to other partners a couple of months ago. However, they still maintained their relationship despite leading separate conjugal lives. Following this, the woman’s in-laws reportedly sent her to her mother’s place.
The woman, meanwhile, used to mount pressure on Ajey to divorce his wife and marry her. On Friday morning, the woman called him to meet her. He was taking her on his motorcycle to his house when the woman asked him to stop midway and have sex with her.
Ajey got irritated by her demand, which led to heated arguments between them. The woman then took out a knife from her bag and attacked him, slashing his private parts and then fled the crime spot, leaving him in a pool of blood. She then reached the local police station to file a rape case against him.
Ajey, who was writhing in pain following the attack, was spotted by the passersby who informed the police before rushing him to the nearby hospital. “We have arrested the woman and registered a case of attempt to murder against her”, the investigating officer said.
