The Lok Sabha was adjourned till noon on Friday after chaos erupted in the House over various issues including the incident of Aam Admi Party (AAP) MP Bhagwant Mann's video of Parliament which is being seen as a security threat.
Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan who had taken cognizance of the video, summoned Mann after the proceedings were adjourned. She had earlier said that the matter was being investigated and that she had sought a report on the same.
Mann who stoked a controversy after uploading a video showing security spots of Parliament, on Friday strongly defended his actions and said his intention was not to malign the image of Parliament or put the security at risk.
-"I did not play with the security. I never wanted to put the security at risk. I think that I have not done anything that harms the security. DD, Lok Sabha everything comes live. My intention was not to malign the image of Parliament or put security of risk. Everyone should get a chance to speak. Speaker has called me and I will go there,-" Mann said.
The BJP has raised the issue in Parliament and had demanded a breach of privilege motion against the AAP MP. -"This is a matter concerning security of Parliament. Matter must be discussed & action needs to be taken,-" said BJP leader M A Naqvi.
Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) had also said it would move privilege motion in the Lok Sabha against Bhagwant Mann for uploading a video on social media that showed the Parliament premises and internal security positions.
-"Who will be responsible if tomorrow that video is used by terrorist organisations for attacks Can we take this so leniently ,-" said SAD leader Harsimrat Badal.
