Kota: 2 gangraped in farmhouse

A 34-year-old woman and her 23-year-old friend were held captive in a farmhouse and gangraped by five persons in Sukait area of Kota district, the police said on Monday.

A 34-year-old woman and her 23-year-old friend were held captive in a farmhouse and gangraped by five persons in Sukait area of Kota district, the police said on Monday. The police has lodged a case of gangrape against the five accused, but none of them have been arrested so far.

Sukait police station SHO Mahendra Maru said the two women, from Jaipur city, on Saturday night registered a complaint of gangrape against Rajendra Singh Sisodiya, ex-deputy pradhan of Kherabad panchyat samiti, Rodu Singh Sisodiya, Shiv Dhakad and two others.

The victims said in the complaint that they had got off the train from Jaipur at Ramgangmandi railway station on Friday night on the way to their relative’s home in nearby Khumbkot village. While they were looking for a taxi outside the station, Rajendra Sisodiya, who was familiar to the women, offered them a lift and took them to his farmhouse in Sukait and locked them in one of the rooms, he said.

The victims said that Rajendra then called four others, two of whom were identified as Shiv Dhakad and Rodu Singh Sisodiya. The five repeatedly raped the victims throughout the day on Saturday and held them captive, the SHO said.

The women were then dropped off at Ramgangmandi station by the accused on Saturday evening. On the victims’ complaint, the accused Rajendra Singh Sisodiya, Rodu Singh Sisodiya, Shiv Dhakad and two other unidentified persons were booked under section 376(B) of the IPC, Mr Maru said, adding that the medical examination of the victims had been completed.
