43-year-old Joseph was abducted from his workplace at Souk al Jumaa near Libya's capital Tripoli, on March 31.
Minister of External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on Wednesday announced that Regi Joseph, Indian techie from Kerala abducted in Libya earlier this year, has been set free by an anti-regime militia.
43-year-old Joseph, of Koorachundu in Kozhikode, Kerala lived in Libya with his wife and three children, and was abducted by an anti-regime militia from his workplace at Souk al Jumaa near Libya's capital Tripoli, on March 31.
Indian Embassy in Libya has secured the release of Regi Joseph - an Indian national from Kerala. He was abducted in March this year.

Announcing that the Indian embassy in Libya has secured his release, Swaraj added that release was possible thanks to the efforts of Azar AH Khan, the Indian ambassador in Libya.
