IAF plane flying from Chennai with 29 personnel onboard goes missing

An Indian Air Force (IAF) AN-32 plane flying from Tambaram (Chennai) to Port Blair carrying 29 personnel, including six crew members went missing on Friday.
The IAF has launched a massive joint operation with the Indian Coast Guard to search for the plane which went missing over the Bay of Bengal.
According to reports, the plane took off at 8.30 am and the last contact established with its crew was at around 8.46 am.
