‘Those who rear snakes would be bitten’, minister sends strong message to Islamabad.

Demolishing Pakistan’s claim that it was primarily the non-state actors resp-onsible for launching terror attacks against India, home minister Rajnath Singh in a scathing attack accused the “entire Paki-stani establishment” of engaging in fuelling terro-rism here. The home minister’s response is in line with the government’s pl-an of keeping Pakistan un-der sustained pressure on multiple forums for encou-raging anti-India terror operations from its soil.

The home minister’s strong comment comes close on the heels of Prime Minister Narendra Modi describing Pakistan as mothership of terrorism. Speaking at a conference of regional editors in Chandigarh on Monday Mr Singh warned Pakistan saying, “those who rear snakes would be bitten”. In fact, the home minister offered assistance to Pakistan to launch anti-terror operations in “closure of terror factories” in Pakistan-occupied Kas-hmir, but claimed its intentions were not clear.

Indian Army’s Special Forces had carried out surgical strikes last month across LoC to demolish some of the advance launch pads being used by terror operatives following attack on the Uri Army camp.

“Pakistan’s entire establishment is engaged in fuelling terrorism in India and that’s why, the management of areas along the Indo-Pak border has become a challenging task. But those who rear snakes should know they would bite them,’’ Mr Singh said.
