In a gruesome incident, three young Dalit kids who accused of stealing an upper caste man’s motorbike, were stripped, beaten and paraded naked by a mob in Rajasthan's Chittorgarh district.
According to media reports, the children were tied to a tree, thrashed, and paraded naked for their alleged crime but were eventually removed from the scene after police intervention. A video of the incident was shot by eyewitnesses.
The kids reportedly belong to the Kanjar tribe, who live secluded on the outskirt of villages and towns.
Responding to the incident, the state Child Welfare Minister Anita Bhadel told NDTV that the issue would be taken up with the district administration.
There have been no arests on the issue so far.
