Man kills 2 children, commits suicide by jumping before train Hissar: A 35-year-old man allegedly killed his two children by throwing them before a running train and then committed suicide by jumping on tracks on Hissar-Bhiwani section. The man, Krishan Saini, a truck driver, had a tiff with his wife after she refused to give him money for liqour last night, police said. In a fit of rage, Krishan took his three-year-old son Lalit and five-year-old daughter with him and then pushed them before a running train near village Satroad Khas, about 15 Kms from here, police said. After killling his two children, he too jumped before a train. The three bodies were found by villagers this morning. According to police, Krishan's relatives said that he was facing financial issues due to his drinking habit. Superintendent of Police (SP) Deepak Barnwal transferred SI Satyendra Singh to police lines and and asked the Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Rajiv Ranjan to probe the rape charge against Singh, the sources said. The girl, a native of Marr village, had alleged in a complaint that she was raped by the Singh at Morkahi police station last week where she had gone to record her statement under section 164 of the CrPC before a magistrate in connection with her escapade with her boyfriend about which her family had lodged a case, they said. Meanwhile, the Bihar State Women Commission Member Chandramukhi Devi said that she will go to Khagaria to probe the rape charge against the SI, the sources added. Sudhakar Reddy, 55, who worked for BHEL, and his wife R. Susheela, died of their injuries soon after the incident. Manikant had 60 per cent burns on his body and had been battling for his life. The shocking murder took place in the early hours of August 28. Praveen poured petrol over the three at around 2 am, before locking himself in his room in the same house. Initially, the RC Puram police booked it as a case of suspicious death or an accident. “However, later we found that it was not an accident. We altered the case to murder. We arrested the accused, Praveen Reddy, on September 13,” said RC Puram circle inspector G. Srinivas. Police said 26-year-old Praveen Reddy killed his parents for gain and in order to get his father’s job. “He was unemployed and was frequently scolded by his parents for not doing any job. We suspect he decided to eliminate them as he was eyeing his father’s job at BHEL. He also wanted the family property,” said inspector Srinivas. Praveen Reddy is in judicial remand. Manikant got caught up in the gruesome crime as he was visiting his grandparents and staying with them for a few days. His father Vittal Reddy lives in Shankarpally. Chandrashekar and the Narsipatnam sub-registrar, Murthy, 50, are good friends. Misusing the friendship, Murthy introduced a realtor R. Sesham Raju, 65, to Chandrasekhar and said that he has huge ancestral property in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Vizag. Believing in Raju’s words, Chandrasekhar gave Rs 96 lakh as debt to Raju after he pledged some forged documents of lands worth Rs 5 crore at various places in the city in 2011. However, Raju didn’t return neither the capital nor the interest amount. After repeated warnings by Chandrasekhar, Raju told him that he had won a case related to some land in the high court and that he needed to pay Rs 12.5 lakh to settle it. Raju promised that he would sell the land and repay the loan amount and again borrowed Rs 12.5 lakh from Chandrashekar. But Raju did not repay the amount and Chandrasekhar approached police.
