Celebrate, you have a few hours, then work: Modi

You have a few hours to celebrate, then get down to work: this was the message Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave to the 19 newly-inducted ministers of state on Tuesday.

Soon after the meeting of the Union Cabinet, Mr Modi interacted with the newly-sworn-in ministers and asked them to work hard with honesty and dedication. He said the ministers should dedicate themselves to development.

Mr Modi also said the projects initiated by the government should be visible at the grassroots level and the last man in the queue should also benefit. The meeting with the new ministers of state lasted a little over 30 minutes. The PM holds a meeting of the council of ministers every month to review their work.
