The BJP on Saturday fumed over the Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik’s remarks that he was not “comfortable” with idea of Narendra Modi being projected as the future prime minister of India.
The BJP on Saturday fumed over the Orissa chief minister Naveen Patnaik’s remarks that he was not “comfortable” with idea of Narendra Modi being projected as the future prime minister of India. “How can the BJD president and chief minister Naveen Patnaik be comfortable with Narendra Modi being projected as BJP prime ministerial candidate when he is hobnobbing with the Congress for political survival ” asked senior BJP leader Suresh Pujari. Dubbing the BJD as the “B-Team” of Congress, Mr Pujari said both the parties had entered into an unwritten understanding in 2009 to help each other at the time of crisis. “In 2009 when the BJD-BJP alliance broke and the ruling BJD sought confidence vote, the Congress members abstained from voting.”
