Bihar election results: Celebrations begin as trends show Grand Alliance leading

: Celebrations broke out at the Janata Dal (United) office here on Sunday as early trends indicate a lead for Grand Alliance.
Party workers were seen dancing and bursting firecrackers.
According to the latest Election Commission data, Grand Alliance is leading in 124 seats - Janata Dal (United) in 61, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) in 50 and Congress in 13, while BJP in 100 seats.
Amidst tight security arrangements counting of votes for the five-phased Bihar Assembly election is underway.
39 counting centres have been set up throughout the state. CCTVs camera have been installed at all counting centres. E-counting software will also be used to record real time compilation of round-wise data.
