The incident took place in the state’s premier medical institute, Sawai Man Singh Hospital premises, where her disabled mother had come for treatment from Maharashtra.
The girl was found early morning near Dhanwantari Hospital in the same premises. She was crying and bleeding profusely.
The victim was sitting outside the office of Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Samiti, a charitable trust for disabled persons. At night, two disabled persons came and sat nearby.
They started talking to the victim and her mother. After a while, they gave them a mango to eat after which they went to sleep. The police have been searching for the two disabled persons and checking the CCTV footage installed in the area.
This is the second incident of a minor’s rape in a fortnight. On June 4, a girl of the same age was abducted from a religious place in Transport Nagar area, raped and then left at Kanota, a suburban town. She too was bleeding profusely on the roadside when a police patrol team spotted her crying in the wee hours.
The girl’s father, a sewadar in a gurdwara in Jaipur, lodged an FIR about the girl having gone missing on Saturday night. The accused, an auto driver known to the victim’s family, was arrested 10 days later.
