Bomb scare on rail track in Odisha

Suspecting the bomb inside the suitcase, the train services were stopped for a while.

Puri: Tension ran high on Friday near Bira-Purusottampur railway gate at Pipili near Odisha’s pilgrim city Puri after a suitcase with electric wire and a plastic container was found on a rail track at around 11 am sparking bomb scare in the locality. As a result, train services were halted on the route. Sources said some locals spotted the suitcase containing electric wires and a plastic container on the railway track and immediately informed the Railway Police Force. Suspecting the bomb inside the suitcase, the train services were stopped for a while.
