Bhopal: Hectic lobbying has begun in the ruling BJP and Opposition Congress in Madhya Pradesh after the EC announced to hold biennial polls to five Rajya Sabha seats from MP along with 54 others, falling vacant in the Upper House in coming days, on March 23.

Terms of five RS members from MP, including two Union ministers — Prakash Javdekar and Thabarchand Gehlot — are expiring on April 2 this year, necessitating the March 23 biennial polls.
