Lucknow: UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday asked Congress president Rahul Gandhi to apologise to the nation after the Supreme Court verdict on the Judge Loya case.

“The verdict in Judge Loya case has exposed the Congress once again and Mr Gandhi should apologise to the nation for this”, he told reporters.

He said the Congress had tried to create such an environment in the country that developed negative emotions in people for the government.

He added that the apex court  has cleared all the confusion and it revealed  the conspiracy of the Congress by rejecting a SIT probe into the judge’s death.

The BJP, meanwhile, termed the Congress president as an ‘entertainer’ who is not taken seriously by the people.

BJP spokesman Chandra Mohan said that the Congress and other opposition parties were nervous about the offensive launched by the BJP against corruption and were engraining in mudslinging.

“No one takes Rahul Gandhi seriously and, at best, he is an entertainer who stands sin ATM queues, shows his torn kurta and tears ordinances,” he said.
