UP govt to spend Rs 39.4 lakh for Yogi’s oil painting

The government has earmarked Rs 40 crore for renovation of roads leading to the Vishwanath temple in Varanasi.

Lucknow: The Yogi Adityanath government will spend Rs 39.48 lakhs for an oil painting of chief minister Yogi Adityanath that will adorn the art gallery in the UP Vidhan Sabha. A sum of Rs 7.2 lakhs will be spent on an oil painting of the Vidhan Sabha Speaker.

Apart from this, a sum of Rs 3.44 crores has been earmarked for installing digital CCTV cameras in the Assembly complex and Rs 4.99 crores for building a system of live telecast of Assembly proceedings.

 

These are some of the features of the first supplementary budget tabled by the Yogi Adityanath government. The size of the budget is Rs 11,388 crores.

In the supplementary Budget, the government has focused its agenda in the priority sector of infrastructure like road, power, health, panchayati raj and people oriented schemes.

The government has earmarked Rs 40 crore for renovation of roads leading to the Vishwanath temple in Varanasi.

The government has set aside Rs 153 crore for Purvanchal Expressway Rs 10 crore for repair of EVM machines, Rs 12 crore for renovation of Ram Ghat in Chitrakoot and Rs 84 crore for minority welfare schemes.

 

For the Swachchh Bharat campaign, the Yogi government has earmarked Rs 522 crores and Rs 1,125 crores for Prime Minister Awas Yojana.
