New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said steps are afoot to uproot corruption that had become institutionalised and hit out at out-of-work middlemen, who allegedly take bribes on the pretext of getting government jobs, for shouting the most about unemployment.
Addressing over 200 start-up entrepreneurs at “Champions of Change” programme organised by Niti Aayog here, Mr Modi said the Centre had already ended the system of interviews for group-III and group-IV employees in the government, ending the role of middlemen.
