Adityanath govt image takes hit after two videos go viral

Lucknow: Two videos that went viral on the social media in the past few hours have dented the image of the Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh.

In the first video, Uttar Pradesh minister Nand Gopal Nandi is seen getting a foot massage from BJP workers in Allahabad, after a ‘hectic day in campaigning for local body polls’. The minister is seen reclining with his eyes closed and the party workers massaging his feet.

Nand Gopal Nandi, minister for civil aviation in the Yogi Adityanath government, was earlier in the BSP. His wife Abhilasha Gupta is the BJP candidate for the mayor in Allahabad.

While Mr Nandi refused to respond to calls, his supporters in Allahabad said that the minister was suffering from low blood pressure.

In the second video that went viral, the BJP candidate for Nagar Panchayat in Hamirpur district Shaifali Singh, who is known as ‘Maharani’, is seen threatening a police official.
