Bhopal: The latest electoral roll revision exercise by the Election Commission (EC) has led to deletion of more than 24 lakh ineligible voters in Madhya Pradesh. The voters whose names have been deleted in the exercise comprised the dead, shifted, absentee, and repeat or duplicate voters, chief electoral office said.
The draft voters’ list of MP made public on July 31 has 4.94 crore voters as against 5.07 crore voters listed in the draft voters’ list published in January this year.
