Chhattisgarh CM sets example, admits kin at govt hospital

Bhopal: Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh on Saturday set an example by admitting his pregnant daughter-in-law in a government hospital in Raipur for delivery.

His daughter-in-law, Aishwarya, gave birth to a baby girl in the Dr B.R. Ambedkar government medical college and hospital in Raipur in Chhattisgarh at around 10.30 on Saturday.

She was immediately admitted in the hospital on the small hours of Saturday after she got labour pains.

The chief minister along with his family members including his MP son Abhishek, husband of Aiswarya, was present in the hospital at the time.

On social media site, Twitter, the chief minister proudly shared the photograph in which he was seen holding his newborn granddaughter in his arms.
