New Delhi: A team of central probe agencies-CBI and Central Forensic Science Laboratory-has collected certain crucial forensic evidence against the accused from the Muzaffarpur (Bihar) shelter home in connection with the alleged sexual abuse case.

According to sources the team also visited the residence of prime accused Brajesh Thakur, as well as the newspaper office run by him on Saturday. The shelter home was sealed by the district administration after Thakur was arrested along with nine others.

"The CFSL team has collected forensic evidence to speed up the probe into the case. The agency sleuths will soon meet family members of the accused to ascertain their role in the crime", sources said. The CBI team recently opened sealed rooms in the shelter home and collected crucial evidence related to the case, they added.
