Lalu Yadav case: CBI to grill two persons

The agency will soon seek clarifications from two senior representatives of the benami company.

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation, which is currently probing corruption cases against RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members, is set to issue summons to two private persons for questioning in connection with the case. Sources said, “Investigation by the agency revealed that Prasad, as railway minister,handed over the maintenance of two IRCTC hotels to a company allegedly after receiving a bribe in the form of prime land in Patna through a ‘benami’ company owned by Sarla Gupta. The agency will soon seek clarifications from two senior representatives of the benami company. They will soon be summoned by the CBI”.
