Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday called Chhattisgarh forest minister Mahesh Gagda on the latter’s phone and gave him tips on winning confidence of people.

“The PM called me and suggested me to connect to the people by addressing their problems and undertaking developmental activities in my area. He particularly advised me to focus on development of infrastructures in the sectors of education, health, and communication and removal of malnutrition problem among the children and women”, Mr Gagda told the media.

The PM also sought to acquaint himself with the problems facing the tribals of Bastar.

The PM was scheduled to dedicate to the nation the “Ayusman Bharat Yojana” at Jangla in Bijapur district on April 14, besides distributing ownership certificates to 100 local beneficiaries of PM Awas yojana.
