Lucknow: In a bizarre situation, a man travelling on train found himself in police custody after he praised Pakistan and told his co-passengers that he planned to travel to Islamabad soon.

The passengers apparently suspected him to be a terrorist and alerted the Government Railway Police.

The man, who was travelling from Mumbai in the Kushinagar Express, was arrested from the AC coach of the train in Basti district.

The police seized a fake Aadhaar card from him  and the man later identified himself as a resident of Walterganj in Basti district. Basti SP Sankalp Sharma said that the accused was not found to have any links with any terrorist organisation. Police also said that the man did not seem to have a sound mental health.
