Nitish, Paswan to share dais on Ambedkar event

According to observers, the two veteran leaders have never been on the same page earlier.

Patna: Growing bonhomie between chief minister Nitish Kumar and LJP chief Ram Vilas Paswan has left everyone in Bihar guessing about a separate political front ahead of 2019 general elections.

According to observers, the two veteran leaders have never been on the same page earlier. Sources claim that they have met for at least five times in last one month.

The latest to send a clear message about their closeness was an inside report from the LJP that the two leaders would be sharing dais on the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti.

Sources claim that both the leaders want to make the event “successful and memorable”. There is also a buzz that RLSP chief Upendra Kushwaha too has agreed to share the dais with Mr Kumar and Mr Paswan on April 14.

While talking to reporters on the issue of his holding meetings with Nitish Kumar, LJP Chief Ram Vilas Paswan had earlier clarified that he had gone “to invite Mr Kumar for Ambedkar Jayanti event”.
