New Delhi: After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to party leaders, including Union ministers, to highlight the “positive impact” of the demonetisation decision and “less cash/cash less economy,”  both the BJP and the government are also using a pre-recorded voice of Mr Modi for creating awareness on the issue. People have been receiving pre-recorded voice of the Prime Minister on their mobile phones, where Mr Modi can be heard reiterating the objectives of the demonetisation decision and how it is a step taken to check black money and fake currency.

As the government faces opposition’s flak over cash crunch, the BJP cadre has been actively involved, mostly in the rural areas, not only highlighting “less cash/cash less economy” but also assisting people in downloading apps for e-wallet and e-banking. BJP cadre is also roping in youths in highlighting the PM’s message.

Despite opposition’s attack, both the government and the BJP had been claiming that the decision had got support of the people. BJP workers and supporters are also helping people queued outside ATMs and banks, even providing them water and food.
