Hoax bomb call near Vasundhara Raje’s home

However, after through checking it seemed to be a hoax call. But, the police have taken the phone number on surveillance from which the call was made.

Jaipur: Bomb disposal squad and dog squad were called in following bomb threat near chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s residence in civil lines. Senior police officer rushed to the spot to oversee security arrangements and checking. The area around the CM house was cordoned off and combing operation was launched to clear the threat.

An anonymous phone call to police control room claimed that there was a bomb near the residence of chief minister. Initially, the police took it as part of mock drill, however, when it was explained that the call had come from some other number, senior police officials reached the spot. Former chief minister Ashok Gehlot also lives across the road.

However, after through checking it seemed to be a hoax call. But, the police have taken the phone number on surveillance from which the call was made.
